This return policy outlines key details, conditions, and helpful guidance to facilitate seamless, worry-free returns or exchanges back to One Kings Lane if needed for any reason. Please review the various sections below or contact our supportive customer service team with any other questions.

Return Shipping Methods

Pre-Paid Return Label

For convenient self-service, simply log into your One Kings Lane account and navigate to your Order History details. Select the purchase you need to return, choose reason codes for each item being sent back, and automatically generate a prepaid return shipping label from our system to attach to packages.

Arranging Return Pickup

Alternatively, you can arrange a free pickup and packaging from your home for large, heavy, or fragile items that would be difficult to independently bring to a shipping carrier location. Contact One Kings Lane customer service to have a representative dispatched to your home to collect returns and handle packaging/shipping logistics for you.

Dropping Off Returns

You also retain the flexibility to package items being returned and bring to your nearest UPS, FedEx, or USPS location during open hours. One Kings Lane provides pre-printed return labels by request or you can package shipments and manually apply our return warehouse address details:

Make sure to ship with tracking capabilities and consider signature confirmation services for high value packages to secure and verify delivery. Customers are responsible for items damaged or lost during uninsured return transit.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for arranging and covering return shipping fees at their own expense via the options above. One Kings Lane will reimburse return shipping costs only for damaged, defective, or inaccurately fulfilled items after validating warranty coverage. Reimbursements are issued by check or account credit once refunded items are received and inspected at our returns warehouse.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once returned merchandise reaches our distribution center, items are thoroughly examined and entered back into inventory before refunds are processed. Please allow the following processing durations before returned funds post back to your original payment method:

You will also receive an email confirmation as soon as your return is successfully received and refunded. Note certain payment types like wire transfer may take longer to process back to your financial institution or require manual bank coordination.

Return Conditions

In order to issue a requested refund, returned items must meet the following conditions:

Timely Return

Items must be shipped back within 30 calendar days from the original delivery date. For defective, damaged or inaccurate items, we allow up to 60 days from receipt to report issues and coordinate returns.

Original Packaging

Merchandise must be returned in the original product boxes and protective manufacturing materials whenever possible to prevent damages during transit. Please do not place stickers, tape, or shipping labels directly on furniture surfaces or finished décor pieces. Use the original removable labels from packaging to adhere returns details.

Unworn & Unused

Products must be sent back in original new condition without signs of wear, use, permanent tags removed, or permanent alterations made. Note any defects like stains, odors, missing parts, tears, cracks, peeling finishes, or other damage occurring as a result of use, improper packing, or return transit. We cannot process refunds for goods returned outside resalable parameters.

Non-Final Sale

Select luxury or custom-made items like monogrammed linens, certain cashmere blankets, or special order upholstery will be marked final sale. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on those goods unless a manufacturer defect covered by warranty is confirmed on inspection.

During self-service returns, please select from the applicable reason codes below so we can better understand why you needed to send an item back for continual quality and service improvements:

Choose additional sub-codes for damage claims like scratches, dents, stains, color mismatches etc. Providing photos detailing return reasons is extremely helpful for root cause investigation by our partners.

Refund Destinations

Original Payment Method

By default, One Kings Lane processes return refunds back to the original payment type and account used on the order. Whether card, check, wire, or otherwise, respective financial institutions govern actual posting durations as previously outlined after we submit credits.

Store Credit

For expedited refund access, you may select store credit which is instantly redeemable on your next One Kings Lane purchase instead of waiting days or weeks for payment processors. Store credit never expires and may also be gifted to friends and family from your account dashboard if preferred. Please contact customer service if you paid a returnable order as gift card redemption – refunds would issue back to that original card’s balance.

Donation Refund

Lastly, One Kings Lane partners with select charitable organizations and can donate certain returned merchandise on your behalf. You would then receive an applicable tax deduction document for donations if requested during the self-service return process.

Exchanges & Reshipments

Online Product Selection

Rather than wait for return refunds, One Kings Lane can directly reship replacement items selected online from our latest offerings at no additional cost to you after initiating an exchange. Our warehouse teams simply order desired replacements once your return ships back to re-inventory properly. Please account for any pricing differences above original purchases, which get charged accordingly to exchange methods on file pre-order.

Exceptions & Policy Updates

Clearance Items

Given incredibly discounted pricing, all clearance merchandise is considered final sale only unless defective and covered by applicable manufacturer warranty. However, if you receive a damaged clearance product, please arrange a return through this policy right away and our teams can still help with replacement, refund, or exchange options pending investigation.

Extended Holiday Returns

Due to high order volumes around the holiday season, One Kings Lane extends return windows to 60 days from December 1st through January 15th. Clearance items remain 30 days during holidays. Prepaid return label generation, package pickup, customer support and all other return services operate as normal through winter months.

Oversized Items

Due to weight and dimensions, large sectionals, dining tables, wall units, mirrors and similar pieces over 100 pounds incur additional handling fees if returned. Customers can utilize our free large item pickup service or be charged $100-$250 per piece for added warehouse processing. Fee amounts depend on exact size and are disclosed at time of arranging oversized returns.

Policy Updates

One Kings Lane may amend return policies occasionally to align with industry standards and better assist customers. Changes would only apply to orders placed after new policy effective dates. Any purchases made under existing return guidelines at time of transaction would remain eligible per those terms barring exceptions like clearance sales.
